C4D Quick Start Tutorial - Editable Mode
C4D version R24
We have used it before, this time I will explain it in detail.
editable mode
Editable mode, as the name suggests, allows editing of selected objects.
Create a plane (or a cube or whatever) and take care to set the subdivision.
Note the now icon.
Select the plane and press the shortcut key [C] to convert it to editable mode.
Now it is editable. Note that the process is irreversible (mainly this symbol), so don't forget to copy one layer first when you make it.
Later, I want to select the whole (pseudo-exit edit mode), select the model mode
point mode
Select point mode to operate on all points of the object.
Orange is the selected point. When selecting multiple points, hold down [Shift] and
I can operate at will.
For example, to delete something related to this point, press [del], and
I will first select the arc on both sides of the point below
, right-click to chamfer, and change [Shape] in [Modification] to a rounded
drag point in the property bar That's it (don't forget to adjust the subdivision attribute, I made a small picture, but actually don't need such a large value.)
line mode
Lines can be selected to operate in much the same way as point mode.
I can choose any side to adjust, and here comes the problem. Some I don't need a whole edge. At this time, we can control the length of the edges we want by adding nodes.
Create points where you want and
you're done. Don't forget to confirm and click Back to Move Tool. Otherwise, you will create a new node no matter what.
Now you can control it
face mode
The method of use is almost the same.
I won’t talk much about it here, I’m afraid of embarrassment, ლ(′◉❥◉`ლ). You can add edge loops to cut, as well as cut planes. to split face.
Basically, the above three tools can be operated face to face, and interested friends can try it
