01 Added timeline template
2021 adds timeline templates, there are two templates for vertical and horizontal timelines. With the addition of flowcharts and conceptual diagrams in the previous version, MindManager has gone further and further.
The 2021 timeline template is a bit ugly, but the overall operation is not satisfactory.
The timeline is generally used for planning such as product planning, company development history, annual planning, etc., history, milestones and the like.
02 Added export format, export to HTML 5
This can be regarded as a big change, why, because the export to Mindjet Viewer PDF and SWF format has been cancelled, that is to say, there is no export PDF function! ! ! After all, it is also my favorite feature. The new HTML 5, I tried it, and it is much better than SWF, and the experience is much better than PDF.
03 Zapier integration
The first reaction to seeing here is what Zapier is. Zapier is a third-party web application. It mainly allows information to be exchanged between different programs. That is to say, after integration, you can send tasks in your MindManager to Zapier support. More than 700 programs, including Gmail, OneNote, Box, Evernote, Slack, Trello, Jira, Basecamp. Enhanced function
01 Visual improvement-templates and image icons
I don’t know if it was acquired by Corel. MindManager 2021 version of the picture icons has improved a lot, and the icons in the template have been brand new. It is said that more than 900 pictures have been updated this time.
The updated picture files are of high quality, the resize is not distorted from the default 52x52 to 192x192, and new picture categories have been added, including design & engineering, science & medicine, transportation, food, holidays, etc.
02 Improved project task management function
In the task management, the function of critical path, automatic highlighting of tasks, text wrapping of task information, and the addition of 4 functions of Zapier have been added to the task management. The task management part is more detailed. Let's talk about it briefly.
1) Critical path
We can see that this function command has been added to the task.
This critical path is a more important task, which mainly depends on the dependencies between tasks and the deadline of the task. It mainly considers the minimum time limit required for the completion of the entire project. The key task icon is highlighted in the task and Gantt chart. .
2) Task highlighting
Tasks that have been completed, are about to be due, and recent tasks will be automatically highlighted in different colors. This was previously only valid for scrolling up task information.
3) Automatic line-wrapping of subject and task information to text
The subject information text will wrap, and all resources allocated to each task (and other metadata) will display all information in the map. (I didn't understand it, hahaha, whoever found this feature gave me a message)
03 Improve flow chart
Some users have always reported that the MM flow chart line is crooked, how to straighten it, don’t bother now, give you a right-angled line.
The 2020 version is the first version of the flow chart. The 2021 version has improved a lot of this process: new right-angle relationship lines, new flow chart topics to insert themes, optimize the creation process, and add pop-up theme shape selectors ( But I didn't find it).

04File management redesign and expansion
We click the file menu, there are several changes:
1) New: Added timeline blank template and local template folder, and removed two online templates; that is to say, you can no longer directly obtain online templates.
2) Open: Added SharePoint, Box, and Mindjet Cloud (beta), very good functions, and then the Chinese friends should cry, and can't use it. SharePoint needs to be combined with the enterprise version, Box needs to go over the wall, and even the cloud requires an enterprise version account. I can only look forward to Baidu Cloud adding it. For saving is also added.
3) Import: The MPX format is deleted.
4) Sharing: Separate the two from exporting, and the email sending command is reserved in the sharing. The rest is put in the export.
5) Export: This is what we said above that HTML 5 has been added, and PDF and SWF have been removed.
