ProBuilder rapid prototyping technology---advanced functional operation

This article explains the four parts of PB "collision body and trigger", "model export" , "third-party model editing", and " UnityManual API ".

1: Collision body and trigger

PB has its own set of separate components for collision detection and trigger detection, which can be better used together. They are Set Collider and Set Trigger assembly , the green portion of the FIG collision, or yellow as a trigger thereof.

Two: the export of the model

There is a separate model export method in PB . You can use the " Export " function to export various file formats. Currently supported formats are: *.obj , * .stl , *.ply , * .Asset , *.Prefab, etc.

Tip: In addition, the export of the model can also use the built-in method of Unity , namely export to the *.UnityPackage format.

Three: third-party model editing

"Third-party model editing" is a very eye-catching feature in PB . For third-party models developed from 3DMax , PB can do secondary editing through " ProBuilderize ".

四 :UnityManual API

For those who need to study PB in depth , no amount of content written by the author may be enough. So for more content, interested friends can go to Unity's official " UnityManual API " website to inquire more and more detailed content.

The specific operation is to first click " Help " — > "Unity  Manualin the unity menu. In the opened web page, you can enter keywords to query more content you need, see the following figure for details.

This is the end of today 's introduction to the functions of ProBuilder . In the next article, I will explain the last part of ProBuilder . What should I explain ? Let's sell it first, so stay tuned!
