• Access Manager> Tag-based Policy-Open the Service Manager page of tag-based policy. You can use this page to create tag-based services and add access policies to these services. Using tag-based policy enablement you can control access to resources across multiple components without having to create separate services and policies for each component in the component.
•Access Manager> Reports—Open the report page. You can use this page to generate user access report names for resource and tag-based policies based on search criteria (such as policy name, resource, group, and user).
• Audit-You can use the audit page to monitor user activities at the resource level, and you can also set up conditional audits based on users, groups, or time. The audit page includes "Access", "Administrator", "Login Session", "Plugins", "Plugin Status" and "User Synchronization" tabs.

2. Resource-based services and strategies

Ranger can configure resource-based services (such as HBase, Kafka, Storm, etc.) for Hadoop components and add access policies to these services.

Configure resource service

When you log in to the Ranger console, the "Service Manager Based on Resource Policy" interface will pop up. You can also access this page by selecting Access Manager>Resource-Based Policy. You can create services for Hadoop resources (HDFS, HBase, Hive, etc.) through this page, and add access policies to these resources.

• If you need to add a new resource-based service, click the "Add" icon in the corresponding box on the Service Manager page. Enter the desired configuration settings and click Add.
• To edit a resource-based service, click the edit icon to the right of the service. Edit the service settings and click Save to save the changes.
• To delete a resource-based service, click the "Delete" icon on the right side of the service. Deleting a service will also delete all policies for that service.
