1. DO-214 and SMA, SMB, and SMC packages are actually two different names, as follows:
DO-214AA (SMB), DO-214AB (SMC), DO-214AC (SMA).
But I I personally like to use the names of SMA, SMB, and SMC, but you have to know what it is when you see DO-214. These three packages look similar and there is no difference, but from the physical volume, you can see: SMA <SMB <SMC.
