compatibility:
2003: The highest test installation is up to 7.5
2008: OK 8.0 and above
linux: redhat4-5 can only install 6.5
6 and above can be installed 8 and above
However, the client after 8.1 needs to be able to connect to the server to download the certificate, so the client installing 8.1 needs to configure the hosts file to ensure that the server and the client can communicate
Here is basically the same for installing 8.0 as an example. 8.1 I won’t introduce it if it’s not there yet. Pay attention to the hosts first when installing, no matter linux or windows.
1.windows
Modify the hosts file (c:/windows/system32/drive/etc/hosts)
192.168.1.33 server #NBU server address
192.168.1.2 client #NBU client itself and host name
The hosts on the server side should also be added to the above 2 lines
Then wait for the system installation to complete.
2.Linux installation
Here to enter the host name of the server
Seeing this indicates that the installation is complete
Here you also need to modify the hosts file. The linux hosts file is in /etc/hosts
Add two new lines
192.168.1.33 server #NBU server address
192.168.1.2 client #NBU client itself and host name
That's ok
Three, pay attention to the point
If the server name and client name are entered incorrectly during the installation process, you can go to the following directory to modify bp.conf
