Comparison of the three protocols

Insert picture description here

1. VNC
applicable system: windows, linux

Network traffic: small, usually around 100k

Applicable scenarios: Mainly used for the management of linux servers. Due to no sound and USB transmission, it is not satisfied with the use of virtual desktops

2. SPICE
applicable system: linux

Network traffic: large, 10-20M in normal use

Applicable scenarios: As it is suitable for virtual desktops in terms of color, audio and usb, it is mainly used for virtual desktop applications of virtual machines

Use: After installation, you need to configure it in the virtual machine, refer to my blog about the virtual machine.

Three, RDP
currently has two types of rdp on windows, remote and remotefx

Applicable system: windows, linux

Network traffic: small, about 100-200k in normal use

Applicable scenarios: due to better color, audio, usb and local disk mapping, it is very suitable for virtual desktops

Windows use: It can be used after the system is installed.
