Background: To install NVIDIA transfer, it depends on the environment. In order to support GPU in docker, NVidia used to get a nvidia-docker2, now it has been upgraded to NVIDIA Container Toolkit.

installation

  1. Docker installation portal

After completing the above Docker installation, start to configure the nvidia-docker source

3. Install nvidia-container-toolkit and restart docker

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install -y nvidia-container-toolkit
sudo systemctl restart docker

test

  1. Use the latest CUDA official map to test nvidia-smi
$ sudo docker run --gpus all nvidia/cuda:10.0-base nvidia-smi

2. Launch a container that supports dual GPUs

$ sudo docker run --gpus 2 nvidia/cuda:10.0-base nvidia-smi
  1. Specify GPU 1, run the container
$ sudo docker run --gpus 2 nvidia/cuda:9.0-base nvidia-smi
  1. Specify personal container performance (rarely used)
$ sudo docker run --gpus all,capabilities=utility nvidia/cuda:10.0-base nvidia-smi
