Expansion to Europe, Middle East and Asia
Splashtop opened new offices in Amsterdam and Singapore in 2020, and established new partnerships in EMEA, South America and Asia, thereby expanding its business in the European Union and Asia. Splashtop now supports more languages, provides multilingual sales and customer support, and provides better performance in the EU.
Help thousands of businesses switch to remote work
Thousands of companies come to Splashtop and need a quick and easy solution so that employees can remotely access their work computers from their personal devices at home during this sudden pandemic.
Nothing can prepare us for the sudden increase in demand, and the Splashtop team works hard to quickly provide the required remote access solutions so that employees in radio stations, construction, and many industries can start and keep up and running while working from home.
Provide computer access to thousands of students
When schools around the world were closed due to COVID-19, they asked us to provide remote access solutions so that their students (even those using low-spec home computers and tablets) could access school computers.
Our team provides new features around the clock, such as scheduled access to laboratory computers in record time. Hundreds of schools have now adopted Splashtop remote access for thousands of students, faculty, and staff.
New Splashtop Enterprise
In 2020, we are pleased to announce the launch of the new Splashtop Enterprise, which can provide large enterprises with comprehensive, all-in-one remote access and remote support solutions. We also released the new Splashtop On-Prem product, which provides enterprises with a self-hosted local all-in-one solution.

Exciting new features
Splashtop released some new features in 2020, including planned remote access and group-based access. Splashtop also extends remote control support for all devices running Android 8.0 and higher, as well as remote access to Chromebooks.
We also work with multiple SSO identity providers and PSA / RMM systems to provide you with more integration options.
Safety is the top priority
We have been constantly scanning and verifying our products to ensure their integrity, and we also cooperate with first-class security companies to conduct audits several times a year. This year, we deployed our infrastructure to multiple cloud providers to reduce the risk of relying on a single provider's service availability. We also obtained SOC 2 Type 2 certification this year, greatly improving the security of our cloud infrastructure.
Splashtop invests millions of dollars each year to ensure the security, reliability and compliance of its infrastructure. In the coming year, this will continue to be the main focus area.
Next steps in 2021
