Crust provides a decentralized storage network for the Web3 ecosystem, supports multiple storage layer protocols including IPFS, and provides interfaces to the application layer. Crust
's technology stack can also support a decentralized computing layer. Crust aims to build a distributed cloud ecosystem that values data privacy and ownership.

Crust Network has opened the token bridging function of the Maxwell preview network today, allowing the Crust token CRU to seamlessly shuttle between ERC20, Maxwell preview and the Crust master, and the same set of tokens can experience different functions. On February 4th, the Maxwell preview network will be officially opened, and the storage market limited test will begin.

Maxwell Preview Network Implementation Plan

Phase 1 (January 24-January 29): Crust Maxwell preview network will conduct internal testing. It mainly involves the upgrade of the chain, the activation of modules under the IPFS chain, and various functions and performance tests. During this period, the existing node manual will become invalid, the new node will not be able to access the network normally according to the node manual, and the nodes that have been connected to the network will not be able to operate stably.

Phase 2 (January 29-February 1): Users can map (exchange) the CRU ERC20 Token to the preview network through the on-chain Claim module for GPoS pledge mining. In the GPoS consensus mechanism of the preview network, nodes obtain staking quotas by providing storage space, and currency holders can pledge CRU Tokens for nodes to obtain benefits.

Phase 3 (February 1st-February 4th): Crust Maxwell preview network pre-launch. Starting from this stage, the node can access the Maxwell preview network through the new version of the node manual.

Phase 4 (February 4-late February): Crust Maxwell preview network officially opened. At the same time, the development team will conduct a limited test of the decentralized storage market based on the preview network, and gradually open it to members of the Crust community to participate in the experience and testing of DSM2.0.

Phase 5 (Late February-): Launch Crust Maxwell to preview the full-featured form of the network, fully supporting decentralized storage. At the same time, relevant technical documents and guidelines for developers will be provided to guide third parties to access the Crust network and make adequate preparations for the Crust mainnet.
The specific content will be synchronized with everyone before Maxwell goes online. Please continue to pay attention to the official Crust community and public account.

About Crust Network

Crust provides a decentralized storage network for the Web3 ecosystem, supports multiple storage layer protocols including IPFS, and provides interfaces to the application layer. Crust's technology stack can also support a decentralized computing layer. Crust aims to build a distributed cloud ecosystem that values data privacy and ownership.

The Crust Maxwell preview network, which strives to have the same functions as the Crust main network, is expected to be officially launched on February 4 and the decentralized storage market at the end of February. At that time, the storage market function will be integrated with the IPFS function of Crust Apps. Partners can scan the WeChat QR code at the end of the article for consultation.

Crust Network successively joined the Substrate Builders Program, Web3.0 Bootcamp, and obtained the Grant from the Web3 Foundation.
