Cannot log in to the FTP server with the specified user name and password

I encountered this problem when I used the FTP site on my computer win10 today. The account and password were correct but I could not log in to the site. After searching for information on the Internet for a long time, I found that the problem could not be solved. Finally, I found the cause of the problem and shared it with you.

1. Windows cannot access this folder. Please make sure that the entered file name is correct and you have permission to access this folder.

Solution: Click on the FTP site you created, select the FTP SSL settings in the function view, and tick before allowing SSL links

2. Cannot log in to the ftp server with the specified user name and password

Solution: Click on the FTP site you created, select FTP authentication in the function view, check whether the basic authentication and anonymous authentication are enabled, if not, click enable, relink the FTP site test ( my question It is here to solve ), if the connection still fails

Check whether the FTP root directory contains the folder LocalUser, if it contains this directory, check again whether there is a user name folder under LocalUser

PS: After selecting the isolation site, you need to create a LocalUser directory in the root directory. LocalUser contains the user name, and each user name contains the user's files

Example: There are two folders Administrator and guest under LocalUser, A file under Administrator and B file under Guest.

If you log in with Administrator under ftp://XXX.XXX.XXX:****, you can see file A, log in with Guest, you can see file B, otherwise you see anonymous files, otherwise it’s empty

User view: "My Computer"-right click-management-configuration-local users and groups
