EEPROM is electrically erasable programmable read-only memory. EEPROM can be erased and reprogrammed online, and is generally used in plug and play. The erasing of EEPROM does not need to resort to other equipment, it is erased and reprogrammed through the action of higher than normal voltage; and Byte can be the smallest modification unit, and it is not necessary to wash all the data to write. But because the storage capacity of EEPROM is generally not large, it is mainly used in small data storage occasions, such as computer BIOS ROM chip and configuration information storage.

EEPROM features
EEPROM solves the problem that traditional ROM/OTP can only be cured before leaving the factory or is not conducive to debugging; it also breaks through the cumbersome and unstable problems of EPROM that must be erased offline with ultraviolet rays.

EEPROM directly uses electricity to rewrite data, and can be erased and reprogrammed by byte, thus overcoming the shortcomings and deficiencies of general ROM.

But because the storage capacity of EEPROM is generally not large, it is only suitable for some small-capacity storage occasions.
