Sign up for a Cloudflare account
Registered address: https://www.cloudflare.com
After registering and logging in, add the domain name, as shown in the figure below
and select the package type. Generally, you can choose free:
Modify DNS
The following is based on the domain name you purchased. Go to the domain name management background to modify the DNS. The free package can only configure Cloudflare through DNS. The paid package or Partner can be configured through CNAME. First, click DNS to view the DNS assigned by Cloudflare to yourself:
Take the Xinnet domain name as an example, log in to the domain name backend, select Domain Management=>Modify DNS, and select non-newnet DNS, and then fill in the two DNSs allocated by Cloudflare into the primary and secondary DNS respectively, and click Save. Generally, 1 Effective in -2 days.
Turn on HTTPS
Click the SSL/TLS button, there are generally four modes available:
- 1.Off (not secure)
is not open - 2. Flexible
open the browser to <->Cloudflare - 3.Full
open browser<->Cloudflare<->server - 4. Full (strict)
open the browser <->Cloudflare<-> server trust certificate, more strict
After the above series of operations, you only need to wait for https to take effect. After Cloudflare's DNS resolution is completed, DNS, CDN, and HTTPS can be successfully turned on. However, generally free products are somewhat limited. There are no paid packages in China. If there is no fast CDN node, CDN will not have the effect of acceleration. If you are pursuing performance and not bad for money, you can use the enterprise version or some domestic partners.
