I respect your choice and believe in my own judgment

This is an essay.

I have always believed that the choice everyone makes is the most reasonable choice in the context of the time, no matter how unreliable others may seem. Without him, because of the human nature of seeking advantages and avoiding disadvantages.

Everyone has various choices in their careers, either for a big factory experience, or for a relaxed life, or for an opportunity to make money, or for their own ideals in life. However, due to the particularity of their profession, technical people often have similar career developments: [Technical Experts]-[Single-handedly]-[Field Experts]-[Team Leader]-[Department Leaders]. As long as you work hard for 5-7 years and become an expert in a certain field, that is, at the P7 level, it is not difficult. But going further, it is reasonable, most teams do not need multiple Leaders, so they are very particular about fortune.

In order to avoid the 35-year-old trap, or to find a job that does not work overtime, or to solve the mortgage pressure in big cities, or to get rid of 361, there are various choices. But in general, there are two directions: make more money, or work less overtime.

As long as the enterprise is profitable, there is no purely broken colleague relationship.

|0x01 Confused

After becoming a domain expert, many people can be regarded as reaching a new stage in their lives. It is basically not a longing for the future, but a kind of confusion. Why?

  • One is: basically married and having children at this age, with family pressure;
  • The second is: at this level, continued promotion is often not based on technical ability, but management ability.

How many people dare to say that they must be competent for management positions? Except for qualifications, experience, and technology alone, I am afraid that most people will not be able to convince others. If we must give people a definition, then the most appropriate definition should be: "People are the sum of all social relations." No matter how good the technology is, in a human society, human feelings cannot be bypassed. In addition, students who are new to the job often feel that high P is the same regardless of how many years they have worked. But if you are promoted to the same level, I am afraid that the results that can be produced will only be worse.

Human feelings, empathy, drawing PPT... It seems that this path is not the path that technical people should pursue.

The atmosphere of the Internet industry is led by major manufacturers. For example, Ali emphasized that China and Taiwan have led the development trend for so many years. It is not only the concept of Zhongtai, but the biggest difference between Ali and other companies is probably the ubiquitous values. If other companies train people in the direction of professional talents, then Ali's purpose of training talents is to train them in the direction of "CEOs." Basically, I have worked in several different fields for many years, even in a direction that I am completely unfamiliar with.

In a word, it is difficult to cultivate in a rapidly changing industry, and not everyone is the material of the CEO.

In this environment, awesome people are not terrible. What's terrible is that they are not only better than you, but also more diligent than you. This anxiety will deeply affect everyone. Working overtime, staying up late, pleasing superiors, and taking the initiative to entertain guests are nothing more than ways to relieve anxiety.

However, you cannot use tactical diligence to cover up strategic laziness. Just look at your spare time. Are you playing games, going shopping, traveling? Or to find colleagues to eat, participate in circle gatherings, read and write articles?

Those who do technology are very scared. After working hard for a long time, the business is gone.

So, how to say that sentence: "Men are afraid of going into the wrong line, women are afraid of marrying the wrong man." For a technical person, it is very important for a technical person to enter which industry and which direction he should pursue, and stick to it. For example, 2B/2C is the choice of an industry, and deep plowing in Java or data analysis is a deep plowing in one direction. "One specialization, multiple abilities" means that when a field reaches a bottleneck, horizontally expand learning. Finally, it will always form its own unique competitiveness.

|0xFF judgment

Not everyone has the right to choose the industry and direction, but everyone has the ability to judge the prospects. We can change jobs, we can persevere when the department is chaotic, or we can change industries.

how to say? It is all my own judgment and my own choice.

In short, you must have a central point of core competitiveness, or step on a firm site, familiarize yourself with a business line, get a few favors, and quickly learn the skills of the predecessors... It is all considered a core competitiveness. No one will see how you did in the past, everyone will only see if you are useful to yourself now.

Therefore, the prestige is all typed, judged, and planned.

Fang Xuanling was industrious, Du Ruhui was good at judging, and Li Jingneng played, they were all twenty-four heroes of Lingyan Pavilion.
