Don't be a person who speaks straightforwardly

Today I continue to answer the confusion in the workplace, this time I drew 4 questions.
Question 1:
How to build a relationship with a boss who is too busy to meet people in peacetime?
Answer: To build a good relationship is not to stick together every day, especially for the boss, to build a good relationship is to give charity in the snow, not the icing on the cake.
For example, if the company has a major project that needs your leadership to complete, even if you and your boss can’t meet once a month, he will still miss you.
why?
Because you are the main person in charge of this project, whether you do well has an important impact on your boss's work performance.
Even if your boss is on Mars, he will find ways to keep in touch with you.
On the contrary, it doesn’t matter whether you meet or not. The important thing is that you have to find a way to penetrate the boss’s mind and make him think that you are an individual and a rare talent.
So what you have to consider is not how to build a good relationship with the boss. It is what you should do to let the boss see you, follow you, trust you, and finally be willing to entrust important things to you.
The most common approach is to start with small things in the company, and accumulate projects one by one, so that you can slowly enter the boss's sight from the smallest transparency at the edge.
This is the path I suggested. It's a bit hard, but it's a very stable way. Of course, there are other ways besides that, even side-by-side, but I can't teach this, and I won't do it.
Establishing a good relationship with the boss means "he is good or I am". You can solve the boss's urgent needs, give him advice, and help him improve his performance. Build trust step by step on this basis, and the relationship will naturally get better.
There are no shortcuts, it still depends on sweat and hard work.

Question 2: I would like to ask, if employees who have been working for less than a week want to leave, is it worth keeping? What kind of talent is worth retaining in the company?
Answer: I'm even more curious about why this person wants to leave within a week. This reason is very important and directly affects the answer to the following questions.
There are several reasons I can guess, analyze them one by one.
First, after I joined the company, I found that there was a huge difference from what I said in the interview. I felt that I couldn't accept it, so I left.

For example, the job content mentioned at the beginning was to do WeChat operations, but when I came in, I found that I had to do everything, not only writing copywriting, engaging in activities, but also designing, writing reports, picking up business outside, and running sales.
This situation is a problem with the company, which is different. It takes a long time to resign in a week, and normal people leave in three days.
Second, I found that my personality was not in line with the company's cultural atmosphere.
For example, the team advocates a wolf-like culture, everything is based on performance figures, and they work overtime endlessly. But I was a young man from Buddhism and didn't want to be so tired, so I came in and found that the atmosphere was wrong and hurried away.
This situation is due to the fact that both parties did not make their words clear in advance, which caused a misunderstanding. During the interview, everyone should have a showdown. What is the atmosphere of the company and to what extent can the interviewer accept it? This kind of resignation is a friendly breakup, and no one is delayed.
The third situation is relatively rare, but it is not uncommon, that is, this person has got a better offer again, so he decisively switches to the next home.
Although it has maximized personal interests in the short-term, it is easy to be blacklisted by the industry in the long-term. After all, no company wants to find a person who changes.
Different reasons for leaving will lead to different conclusions. Finally, to answer the question at the end, what kind of talent is worth retaining by the company?
Outstanding ability, loyalty, willing to advance and retreat with the company;
correspondingly, what kind of company is worthy of a talent?

The prospect is bright, waiting for others, and sharing the benefits of the company's growth with employees.

In short, everyone will compare their hearts and make money together.

Question 3:
I'm very confused recently. I graduated last year to do financial work, and I saved tens of thousands of dollars in a year, but I feel that the future prospects of this industry are not good, and the company is average. There was no training promised at the time, and there were still unfinished certificates. I really want to go on a volunteer trip with naked words, but my native family is not good, so I feel very entangled. I feel that I have to work hard to change the influence of my native family. On the one hand, I feel like following my heart to do something I have never tried before. So many responsibilities, what should I do?
Answer:
We will come one by one.
First of all, the fact that you can save tens of thousands in the first year of work shows that your work ability and life planning ability are quite excellent. The problem is that the current job prospects are average, the promotion process is cumbersome, and you can't be interested. So in summary, it is tasteless, a pity to discard it, and it is more tasteless.
But speaking of it, almost all jobs are cumbersome, hard work, and even invisible to the future.

why?
Because you are just getting started, you don't know the full picture of the job or even the industry, you can only judge by the daily work content you are currently exposed to.
But such judgments are not objective and even superficial.
So my suggestion is to consult senior people in your industry with your own doubts. They can be colleagues and colleagues around you, or they can be big Vs in the industry who know or get on. Now paid consulting is very developed, it is not difficult to find such people.
To ask such a starting job, what are the possibilities for the future development path? Listen to the opinions of professionals, compare your own career development demands, and combine them for analysis and judgment.
Don't use personal feelings as the only criterion, try to integrate some factors, income growth, industry vision, personal interests, interpersonal relationships, etc., before drawing conclusions.
Secondly, you mentioned that you want to do a volunteer trip naked.
There is nothing wrong with this idea, but the motivation for making this decision suggests that you still think clearly. Do you want to travel because you want to escape the job, or just because you want to travel?
If it is the former, the essence of the problem has not been solved. After returning from a trip, you still don't know what kind of work you are suitable for, what kind of work you like, and you will still run away next time you encounter similar problems.
Even during the trip, you will keep thinking about what to do next, and you will not have fun playing.
Don't use ideals as a means to escape reality. Ding is Ding Mao or Mao, don't look at them together.

Question 4: Are you welcome at work?
Answer: Of course welcome.
Those who are straightforward can save a lot of twists and turns, point to the core of the problem, improve work efficiency, and benefit a lot.

However, there is a "cost" to speak out, and not everyone is qualified to speak out.
If you are a newcomer who has just joined the company and you lose everything you want, it is easy to leave an immature impression on the people around you.
Because when I was young, I was straightforward, and many of them were "feelings" rather than "viewpoints."
For example, if you take a job that is very cheating, your heart is very frizzy, but you have to do it. What would you say if you had something to say?

"So who and who is really wrong, I have a lot of idle time to die and throw my dirty work to me, why should I help him!?"
This sentence describes my feelings. I was treated unfairly. I am angry, I am upset.
But a mature person in the workplace, he would say this:

"I'm sorry I can not accept this job, because I'm still in the hands of A, B, C three important things to do, priorities are higher than your needs. If that does not work, we might as well go to your boss negotiate about."
This The output of the sentence is a point of view, which I cannot accept, why I cannot accept it, and what we can do.
Do you see the difference?
To put it bluntly, it is suitable for those who are professional in the company, have prestige, and can convince people. If you have not done this step, it is recommended not to say everything straight, otherwise you will easily step on thunder if you are not careful.
Should you have something to say straight? You have to judge what "costs" and what "benefits" you will bring.

For example, if something is said, it will make some people feel uncomfortable, but it can solve a big problem. So in terms of the company's interests, such words should be said, and the boss should realize that this sentence is a benefit ( Solving the problem) is greater than the cost (some people feel uncomfortable).
However, if it does not bring any substantial benefits, it will incur huge costs. For example, simply venting emotions, but not solving the problem, I have a lot of feelings in my heart, and finally the morale of the team is lowered and the problem is more complicated. This is not worth the gain.
In short, it's not that simple to be honest. Who can speak straight, what can be straightforward, when can be straightforward, this is all knowledge.
But one thing is certain. To be a person who can speak up, first of all you have to improve your professional ability and establish your own public prestige. You can not only fix the boss above, but also convince the subordinates below. Major premise.
The above is today's content, I hope it will give you some inspiration.
Mutual encouragement =)
