Solve the problem of no sound after Mac resumes from sleep

This problem has bothered me for a long time. I have been solving it by restarting the machine before, and I am unwilling to solve the problem in time. I found a solution today, and share it with me.
Sometimes there is no sound after the Mac resumes from sleep. This is a bug of the Mac OS X system. This is because there is a problem with the core audio daemon "coreaudiod" of Mac OS X.

Although it can be solved by simply restarting the computer, if a lot of programs are opened at this time and there are other situations that do not want to restart the computer, you can solve this problem according to the following methods.

Steps:

  1. Open the Activity Monitor in your Mac (you can find it by searching for "Activity Monitor" in the "Applications" of the Finder).
  2. Enter "audio" in the search box in the upper right corner of the "Activity Monitor" window, and you can search for the "coreaudiod" process.
  3. Select the "coreaudiod" process, click the "Exit Process" button in the upper left corner of the "Activity Monitor" window, and click "Exit" in the pop-up dialog box.
  4. After the "coreaudiod" process exits, it will automatically restart, and the sound will resume.

A simpler way is to enter the sudo killall coreaudiod command in the terminal and enter the password. The terminal is in "Applications-Utilities-Terminal". Special Envoy~
sudo killall coreaudiod
