SRRC can apply for free, but the approved products must be sold in the country, and the contract for import and sales of radio transmission equipment must be submitted in time to be free. On the other hand, after the application fee is reduced, the application cycle cannot be guaranteed as before. If the sample test fails, the certification cycle will be severely lengthened, which will affect the smooth listing of the company’s products.
China Model Approval is abbreviated as SRRC certification, which is a national compulsory certification, which aims to distinguish between the civilian band and the military band in the wireless band. It is the technical management of the spectrum parameters and technical indicators of the radio transmission equipment before it is put into use in the development, production, import, and purchase links.
The Radio Regulatory Bureau of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China issued the latest "Guidelines for Radio Transmission Equipment Type Approval Licensing Service", which stipulates that from October 15, 2018, the radio transmission equipment type approval (ie SRRC certification) will start a new certification process , The previous SRRC certification project uses the original certification process.
New SRRC certification fees
The new SRRC charges implement no charge standard. After obtaining the "Radio Transmission Equipment Type Approval Certificate", the applicant should fulfill the promise made at the time of application and submit the contract materials for import and sale of radio transmission equipment in a timely manner. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology shall comply with the "Radio Transmission Equipment Type Approval Test and Supervision Inspection" The "Administrative Measures for the Use of Funds (Interim)" shall regularly settle related test fees with the inspection agency.
However, in one of the following circumstances, the relevant test fee shall be negotiated with the inspection agency:
(1) Because the tested equipment does not conform to national standards and relevant national radio management regulations, it is not approved and cannot be sold or used in my country;
(2) It is not sold or used in my country after obtaining the type approval certificate due to market reasons.
The new guide has revised the data requirements, mainly as follows:
(1) The type approval letter of commitment has been added (purchase and sale contracts or certification materials must be provided);
(2) New requirements for the applicant's business license or the copy of the legal person certificate of the institution to be stamped with the applicant's signature;
(3) New requirements for the list of key radio frequency components;
(4) The display method of the model approval code should be listed in the manual;
(5) The display method of the electronic label is clarified.
