In the official blog post on 1.05, the founder Juan Bennett released "EIP-1559 in Filecoin". Juan said that FEIP-1559 has many convincing features, such as high efficiency, good user experience, and higher Reliability and throughput, rewarding transaction network, etc.
For the above reasons, Filecoin has incorporated EIP-1559 into its core protocol and made minor adjustments. At present, EIP-1559 has been implemented and launched on the Filecoin mainnet, and the daily FIL consumed by network transactions is about 100,000 to 150,000. So far, the basic charging mechanism of EIP-1559 has done a good job in keeping the network capacity at 100%.
