WordPress 5.5 Beta 1 is now ready for testing!
The software is still under development, so it is not recommended to run this version on a production site. Consider setting up a test site to use the new version.
You can test the WordPress 5.5 beta in two ways:
- Try using the WordPress Beta Tester plugin (select the "bleeding edge nightlies" option)
- Or download the Beta version (zip) here .
The current target for the final release is August 11, 2020. From only five weeks of . Your help is needed to ensure that this release is tested correctly.
