Because the laboratory computer was reinstalled with the deepin system, I wanted to directly restore the laptop to the laboratory desktop, but the data was restored and the startup items were also covered. I didn't get it for a whole day or two.
Then try to directly copy the software configuration under the .config folder in the user directory and find that it is feasible, so there is no need to configure the software.
This article is just a personal note, which is convenient for reinstalling the system in the future without the steps of configuring software.
Migration specific operations
Before data migration, it is recommended to back up the original file or use timeshift to back up the system
Personally installed software is generally in the opt directory, copy these software directly to the opt directory on the desktop, such as sublime_text
Then copy the folder corresponding to sublime in the .config directory under the notebook to the corresponding folder on the desktop.
Then we open sublime, and we will be surprised to find that the downloaded plugins and configurations are still there.
Note that the software in the opt directory needs to create a shortcut icon first (y=use the desktop file creation tool)
The same is true for other software, just copy the file under .config, please do not open the software before copying over, otherwise it may overwrite the file you copied over, and opening the software requires configuration
Deepin other configuration
A lot of configuration is needed after installing deepin
1. First update the system in the settings and then switch the smart mirror source to the domestic source
2. Copy the C:\Windows\Fonts folder under Windows to deepin. Open the deepin font installer and directly drag the Fonts folder into it. Then go to the settings and change the font
3. Since desktop icons are often created for some executable files, install the next desktop file creation software. Click me to download
4. Log in to the Google Chrome account to synchronize. If the browser font is not clear, you can
- Use stylus plug-in, click me to download . Then download Siyuan Heibody, click me to download . This will force the browser font to be rendered as Siyuan boldface.
- Set all fonts to Microsoft Yahei (Appearance->Custom Font)
