1. What is cloud computing
Cloud computing is an increase, use, and delivery model of Internet-based related services. It usually involves the provision of dynamic, easily scalable and often virtualized resources through the Internet.
2. Layout of major cloud vendors
With the development and blessing of 5G interconnection, major Internet companies have entered the field of "cloud computing" with their respective development strategies:
- Alibaba Cloud , founded in 2009, is committed to providing safe and reliable computing and data processing capabilities through online public services, making computing and artificial intelligence into inclusive technologies;
- HUAWEI CLOUD , in 2005, is committed to providing users with one-stop cloud computing infrastructure services, and aims to become China's largest public cloud service and solution provider;
- Tencent Cloud provides products including cloud server, cloud database, CDN, cloud security, Vientiane picture and cloud on-demand;
- Inspur Cloud provides a full range of services covering IaaS, PaaS, DaaS, government applications, and enterprise applications for government agencies and enterprise organizations;
- Byte Cloud , entered this year, and was renamed **"Volcano Engine"**;
- UCloud, Amazon, JD Cloud, Baidu Cloud, Jinshan Cloud, Lingque Cloud, etc. , are blooming everywhere.
3. Cloud platform architecture
According to the type of service, cloud computing can be divided into three categories:
- IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service): The provider provides virtualized computing resources such as virtual machines, storage, networks, and operating systems.
- PaaS (Platform as a Service): Provides a platform for developers to build applications and services through the Internet.
- SaaS (Software as a Service): Provide users with on-demand software payment applications via the Internet.
4. Private cloud, public cloud, hybrid cloud
- Private cloud: Cloud computing infrastructure is deployed and used by a single organization.
- Public cloud: Cloud computing infrastructure is deployed to a wide range of public open use.
- Hybrid cloud: Use standard or proprietary technologies to combine the above two clouds.
Among them, the government cloud we often talk about is usually a kind of private cloud .
5. The influence and role of "cloud" on the future
With Alibaba's heavy cloud computer without shadow , cloud applications have gradually entered the public eye. Users can upload local resources to the cloud, and connect to the Internet from anywhere to obtain resources on the cloud. It also agrees with the realization of the future 5G "Internet of Everything" in a sense.
Using the cloud computing model, functions such as information, finance, and services are distributed to the Internet "cloud" composed of huge branches, sharing Internet resources, so as to solve existing problems and achieve the goal of high efficiency and low cost.
Gradually, cloud applications have penetrated into various industries, including finance, health, education, the Internet, storage, logistics, and so on.
