Recently, Ali Baba Dharma Institute announced open from quantum computing research simulator "too Chapter 2.0" and a series of quantum Applications, integrated into Ali quantum cloud development platform (ACQDP) , to support the relevant employees quantum hardware design, test quantum Algorithms, and explore its applications in materials, molecular discovery, optimization problems, and machine learning.
According to Ali officials, "Tai Zhang" is a quantum computing simulator self-developed by the Quantum Laboratory of Ali Dharma Academy. "Tai Zhang 1.0" once proposed the original dynamic splitting method of tensor network shrinkage, which greatly reduces the cost of quantum circuit simulation, and is widely adopted by the academic community and the industry. The open-source kernel quantum engine "Tai Zhang 2.0" once again greatly reduces resource consumption through further algorithm innovation. In May of this year, the laboratory used "Tai Zhang 2.0" to simulate the quantum circuit claimed by Google Quantum Hegemony in 2019, and compressed the task of classical calculation that took more than 10,000 years to complete within 20 days. The best solution improved by four orders of magnitude.
Regarding the open source of Taizhang 2.0 this time, Shi Yaoyun, director of the Quantum Lab of Dharma Academy, explained that “open research is conducive to accelerating the advent of the quantum era, and it is also our best strategy to provide quantum computing services to customers and society as soon as possible. According to the introduction, the Dharma Academy’s Quantum Laboratory will have more open-source results and free output to open research partners in the future.
