CCleaner v5.75.8238 has been released, this version includes improvements to cleaning, stability and usability.
Cleaner is a system optimization and privacy protection tool, which is mainly used to remove junk files in Windows systems and users' Internet records. CCleaner is small in size and extremely fast. It can clean up garbage in temporary folders, historical records, recycle bins, and registry.
Cleaning
- The "Cookies to Keep" list can now be imported into any text file ("Options" → "Update")
- Chrome Beta cleaning resumed
General
- Fixed the silent crash when closing CCleaner
- Clearer description of the interaction between "Smart Cleaning" settings
- Added a note to explain how Smart Cleaning uses the "Custom Clean" setting
- The wording of "Run CCleaner at startup" has been improved to "Launch the CC application window every time the computer starts."
- The language list now lists languages in their native language ("Options" → "Settings")
- Some text translation issues in the entire app have been fixed
