[Growth] Record your first interview with a newcomer
This afternoon, the boss of our project gave me a task to interview new people. Although it is a preliminary selection, it also makes me excited. It is the first time I have the opportunity to interview after so many years of work. Newcomers, although I know that I am fully capable of interviewing newcomers. After working for more than 6 years, I used to record other people's interviews with me. Today I have the honor to record my interviews with others.

--Introduction of work experience.
First of all, I asked him to introduce himself. Although I said before that letting others introduce themselves is a very old-fashioned opening, I still start with this old-fashioned opening. Here I think that self-introduction can still reflect a person’s communication skills.

--Work experience. Maybe he just talked about the current work experience, but not the previous work experience. I personally feel that I need to tell each experience briefly and concisely, because you may not know what your experience is for the interviewer. It is attractive.

--As a test engineer, the most important thing is to understand the technology
you need to use. As a test engineer, you need to know the following things: database, product business knowledge, language (it is best to understand white box testing), etc., like a general Internet company knows These are basically qualified for the job, there is no problem, but if the company is a hardware company, such as servers, laptops, mobile phones, these services may be similar to the network, security-related, everyone in all walks of life, although all are testing, but The tests are very different, and the specific things are different, so there is a lot to learn. Interviewing others is actually a process of making myself better, and I feel that I am going farther.
In short, during the interview, you know that it must be greater than or equal to the requirements of the interview company.

--What database did your company use in the past? Do you know the database?
He said to use Oracle. At this time, I was ecstatic, because my current company is using Oracle, and then I asked, do you know what the primary key is? As for how to understand the stored procedure, he started to answer the question a bit. It is unique. I am very satisfied with this point. Seeing this, I suddenly discovered that the leader who interviewed me before, how anxious he was when I answered the wrong question. Secretly determined to work hard. I think he didn't answer the stored procedure. I think it's okay. After all, the stored procedure is a bit more difficult. As long as the answer is one, I think it’s fine. After all, recruiting requires work. It is natural to have high recruitment requirements. First of all, it is most important to meet the daily work. If we are not developing the database, the test engineer is actually adding, deleting, and modifying. , Check, and other stored procedures using PL/SQL programming scripts are more demanding.

--I asked what my future career plan is. Maybe the phone interview was not very clear. Anyway, I finally heard that I was a test supervisor. These are some common questions.

- Originally, I wanted to ask him about the work process of his previous company, but he said it himself in the work experience introduction. Although it is not very logical, I think it is OK.

--Which tools will you use in your work?
A: He said that he would use Zen Tao, and that he learned Jmeter for performance testing, automated testing UI, etc. I think these are still possible, and they will have a little effect on future automated testing.

--What language are you familiar with?
A: JAVA, JAVA Script.--I actually have a question here. What is the difference between these two? I use JAVA every day. I really don’t know and I’m not embarrassed to ask. Actually I can ask, because you don’t know how to ask. I understand. If you ask him and don't understand, I think he will try to figure it out in the future.

-I'll ask you later. Do you have any questions for me?
He asked me a funny question, where is our company, and then it is not far from him, but I think it is funny, I have already told you the company address, you can search for the address, maybe it is a child , It's still funny. Then I tried to guide you. You can check these later. It shouldn't be far away. Do you have any questions about your work that you need to ask me? What is asked later is probably business knowledge, I gave a brief introduction.
I am very grateful to the boss for giving me this opportunity to serve as an interviewer. I am also grateful to the student who accepted the interview. The two sides had a pleasant exchange for more than half an hour. I hope that there will be opportunities to interview more and more advanced students in the future and work hard together. Make progress together. I also hope that student can perform well in the retest tomorrow and pass it smoothly.
I hope that the record of this article will be helpful to colleagues who view this article and those who are interested in becoming this industry.
