Today we continue our series of third-party services commonly used by startups-Developer Tools.
Storage service
The first is cloud storage services, which are mainly storage types, such as daily pictures, files, etc., not a series of functions such as cloud servers. At present, I have come into contact with many Qiniu Cloud, Amazon S3, Tencent Cloud, Alibaba Cloud, and Paiyun.
The use of cloud storage can facilitate us to increase the speed of website access and download, and distribute the content of the origin site to the node closest to the user through the CDN (Content Distribution Network), so that the user can fetch data nearby and increase the success rate of access speed.
The above-mentioned service functions are relatively complete. Almost all of them have been used more or less before. There is no more careful comparison of the differences. The functions are all the same, but more convenient or not. Students with more special needs can compare them carefully.
I personally upload pictures from the Mac client ipic and Qiniu Cloud daily, and upload pictures from my daily blog or relatively important ones to Qiniu. Although they canceled the test domain name before and caused many friends' pictures to become invalid, it feels very bad, but the overall use is still ok.
Monitoring service
There are actually many monitoring services, let me briefly introduce:
1. A well-deserved leader in the foreign NewRelic monitoring field, a very powerful server performance monitoring tool, code level tracking, everything from data collection to visualization, support for multiple language agents, very very detailed data reports, and industry benchmarks. The only drawback is that it is expensive, the price is not clear, and it has been used for a period of time before.
2. The domestic version of OneApm and Tingyun are said to perform well, but the gap is not big, and they also support enough multi-language agents. If you haven’t used it before, don’t comment.
3. Get started by yourself. I mentioned in the previous article " Awesome | Building a Web Performance Monitoring System from 0 to 1 " that collecting data based on statsd and then displaying it through grafana, which can be done through graphite or promethues .
Customer service
Many companies have online customer service requirements for marketing and promotion consulting, focusing on high-value customers, and improving user experience through correct guidance.
I will list a few of them that are widely used in China, Echuang Cloud Customer Service, Mecha, Netease Seven Fish, Udesk .
There is not much difference in the same functions. I personally like Meiqia for no other reason. After all, I have participated in the development of the content. It is kind of natural and friendly, and the UI is relatively beautiful. The so-called face value is justice, I believe that in this case, the customer service students will be very happy to use it.
There are many foreign countries, such as Zendesk and Freshdesk , but due to the internet speed, the domestic experience is not so good.
Just choose one of them.
Email SMS and others
SendCloud is used very much in domestic mail . Foreign Mailgun, SendGrid chooses according to personal situation.
In terms of SMS: Yunpian.com is considered to be a service that is frequently used daily. Of course, many third parties can send SMS, and choose as appropriate.
Payment service: ping++, currently regarded as a professional aggregate payment, one access to Ping++ allows the application to support multiple payment methods such as bank cards, Alipay, WeChat, etc., which is very convenient. After manually docking WeChat Alipay, students know how troublesome it is.
OCR recognition: Domestic Baidu Cloud OCR, Tencent Cloud OCR, other niche players are not recommended.
Face comparison: Face++, compare the similarity of faces to verify the identity of users.
Push tools: Aurora, Ge push , Xiaomi and major mobile phone manufacturers are more likely to have a system-level channel that is said to be more reliable. There are not many contacts in this area and no comments.

If you haven't found the third-party service you need, I suggest you go to Alibaba Cloud Market or JD Cloud Market to take a look. There are a lot of third-party services above and the prices are still very cheap. I believe you can find what you need.
