The father of Python joins Microsoft

The 64-year-old Python founder Guido van Rossum returned after a year of retirement and announced today that he has joined the Microsoft Developer Division (Developer Division).

I find my retirement life boring and boring, so I have joined the Microsoft developer department. What job do you do? Too many choices, it's hard to say! But it will definitely make Python easier to use (not just on Windows :-). Microsoft has a lot of open source, please stay tuned.

A Microsoft spokesperson told foreign technology media Techcrunch that the company has no other details to share, but confirmed that Guido van Rossum has indeed joined Microsoft.

Anders Hejlsberg, the father of Delphi/C#/TypeScript, who is also in the Microsoft Developer Division, welcomed the arrival of Uncle Turtle and looked forward to working with him.

We also look forward to Typethon :)
