Loongson and BYD collaborate to launch laptops

Loongson Zhongke announced the launch of the "BYD Loongson Notebook" in cooperation with BYD. The notebook's processor uses a 14-nanometer technology Loongson 3A4000 chip with a frequency of 1.5Ghz, which integrates vulnerability prevention design, hardware national secret algorithm, secure trusted module and secure access control mechanism. Its performance is said to be similar to the "Excavator" core used in the AMD A8-7680 architecture.
