PDFsam Basic is a free, open source, cross-platform PDF document processing software that can split, merge, extract pages, mix and rotate PDF files.
PDFsam Basic recently released the latest version 4.2.0, the updated information is as follows:
- Upgrade the bundled Java version to 11.0.9
- Upgraded the PDF engine Sejda and some other dependencies
- Partial translation optimization
- Run button UI optimization, now it becomes more obvious
- When clicking the "Clear" or "Clear All" button, a confirmation dialog box is added
- Increase the setting of driver coverage
- Added two properties OVERWRITE_OUTPUT and PDF_COMPRESSION in the MSI installer
- Added a workaround where the mnemonic is always active and the selection list is randomly cleared
- Overwrite confirmation dialog now has more options for users to choose to rename or skip
