How to use HD network encoder and operation steps

The high-definition video network encoder connects the video source device, the video encoder, and the computer used to set and control the encoder in the same local area network.
The video network encoder uses the RTMP protocol to push the video stream to the streaming media server after encoding the video. Video live broadcast encoders generally support RTP/RTSP/RTMP/ONVIF protocol, which can be directly connected to the corresponding video server software. At present, the main video live broadcast protocol is RTMP. The application of RTMP for web live broadcast has the characteristics of strong stability. It is very suitable for webcasting.
There are several types of video live encoder interfaces such as SDI, HDMI, VGA, etc. The video and audio signals transmitted by the HDMI interface are uncompressed, without the need for back and forth digital-to-analog conversion, which can ensure the signal quality, and it does not need to be separate The digital audio cable can transmit video and audio signals at the same time. With the development, it will replace other signal interfaces and become the mainstream. How to use the video network encoder is as follows:

1. Equipment installation and connection
Correctly connect the power supply, network cable and video input source, and connect the SDI/HDMI signal from the signal source (such as a camera) to the input port of the device through the cable. Connect one end of the network cable to the Ethernet port of the device and the other to the switch, or it can be directly connected to the computer network.

2. Device login and network configuration
First, connect the encoder's wired network port to the same switch with the computer through a network cable, or connect the encoder to the computer network port directly. Then configure the encoder and computer to the same network segment so that the computer can access the encoder's WEB page.
A) Right-click the network icon in the lower right corner of windows, click "Network and Internet Settings", and then click to open "Network and Sharing Center";
B) In the pop-up network connection panel, click "Ethernet" with the left mouse button;

3. Set coding parameters and function parameters
Open the WEB browser, after normal login, you can set the coding parameters and function parameters on the encoder WEB management page. In the basic setting menu, you can set some basic functions of the encoder.

4. Encoding and media streaming
Click "Encoding and Media Streaming", and then select "Audio Encoding Engine Settings" to enter the audio encoder setting interface. Set the parameters in the column of "H.264 Main Stream". Streaming media services: RTSP service, RTMP push, HLS service, ONVIF2.0, TS-UDP push, SRT push, one stream of the encoder can run up to 8 push services at the same time.
The RTSP stream can be pulled through VLC on the same LAN computer to test whether the encoding is normal and view parameter information, etc. After installing and opening VLC, select "Media", and then "Open Network Streaming", and you will enter an interface to enter the network URL, fill in the URL address of the encoder's RTSP service, and you can play it.

5. RTMP push (live streaming) To
use RTMP push, you must first determine the platform that supports the RTMP service. The platform must provide the RTMP push address, otherwise the encoder will not be able to push the stream.
Select a live broadcast platform, open the newly created live broadcast channel, and enter the live broadcast monitoring interface. If you choose professional equipment to broadcast live, you will get a live streaming address. Just fill this push stream address into the RTMP push point of the encoder.
