This is why many people now want to switch to computers and want to jump into it. But while getting together, do you really understand the career of programmers? Many people blindly enter and later fail to adapt to the industry, wasting time and energy. Why the software industry is so hard? 2. Frequent overtime work and great physical loss
For the programmer industry, many people only see high salaries, but often ignore the overtime work behind them. Pathological conditions such as 996 are flooded with Internet companies every day. Frequent overtime work and high-intensity consumption of the brain are actually very demanding on the body. Phenomenon like hair loss often occurs, and even sudden death. For middle-aged people with families, long hours of work will naturally inevitably neglect the family and reduce the company of children, which will trigger a series of family conflicts. It is a painful thing not only to face pressure from work outside, but also to face mental pressure at home.
3. Narrowing social circles
Being in a high-intensity work environment for a long time also prevents us from contacting the outside world as much as other industries. Coupled with their own professional requirements, more need to deal with problems separately, which will gradually lead to social weakness and withdrawn personality. Unlike other sales industries, this industry often deals with different people. The social contact area is relatively narrow. For example, when you are at work, you are surrounded by programmers and when you eat, it is like a closed militarized management environment. It will become the same as social derailment. For the general public, programming itself has fewer opportunities for communication. Talking to ordinary people about this aspect will not be understood by others. This is the greater sorrow of programmers.
Nowadays, the pace of society is becoming faster and faster, and people face greater pressure in life, which in turn will cause anxiety and become impetuous. But the thing to remember is that you can’t do anything without paying. There is no such thing as a pie in the sky. While we are envious of others, please don't ignore the bitterness behind others.
