Explore Chongqing!

I think the National Day is coming soon, maybe someone wants to come to Chongqing to play. After staying in Chongqing for more than a year, I often go to some places and maybe I can provide some interesting suggestions.

This article was first edited on the evening of September 19, and edited several times in the following week.

Eling Park

Since I discovered this place, I have often passed by with my classmates. The main reason is that there is a tower with about six or seven floors in Eling Park. You can climb it to get a complete view of the main city of Chongqing. You can see the boats on the river (they are sometimes extremely huge), and you can also see the light rail. I remember that the Liziba station is right below, and it is clear. You can also see the giant sail-shaped building at Chaotianmen (it seems possible), and you can also see the scenery of Caiyuanba Railway Station and Caiyuanba Bridge to the west. There is a building with a flying saucer on top of the building nearby. I used to read old photos more than ten years ago in the school bookstore. When the Caiyuanba interchange was still densely packed with small wooden buildings, the building was there. Over there. It’s also good to go downstairs and walk around in the park. I remember that there is a stone house in the shape of a tower, you can walk up, like archeology. There is also a monument of Soviet volunteer pilots in the park with golden ornaments. I remember there was a pond in the park, the old site of the embassy, and the sturdy yellow kudzu tree, but I was more interested in the brand new "Hengtong Duck" bus outside. Very cute bus. I don’t know if you can find this park smoothly. The first time I went to my classmates and I got off the car at Fotuguan, walked up along a highway that I thought would be called the three-layer mountain road, and passed through a community on the mountain. The circle went from the north gate (not open) to the south gate of the park. This is a good opportunity for individuals to meet in Chongqing, but it will be very tiring. Maybe you can go in directly from the south.

247 bus

When discussing how to get to Gele Mountain with our classmates two days ago, we discovered this route. It will take you to the Microelectronics Park, where there are HP and Intel FPGA R&D buildings. The most important thing is that we noticed that there is a station called Jingangpo. From the map, it can be seen that the bus lines curve "like intestines" before and after this station. If you board this car, it looks very ordinary, but as always, although the Chongqing bus looks a little broken, its soft seat is extremely comfortable-in any case, you would never think that it will take you over the mountains. . Going around the Weidian Park and entering the mountain, it was a location near the intersection of Xiyong Expressway. The school bus passed by here when it first came to Dazhong. A road is not wide, with lots of shade. There are many large muck trucks passing by. In fact, on an S-shaped mountain road, we also encountered an 18-wheel truck. It doesn't take long. You are already halfway up the mountain before you notice it. There are many workshops for stone carving and decoration along the road, and there are also many farmhouses. Through the car window, you can see from one side the view of Tiger Creek below the mountain, mostly large factories like factories, and you can also see the rolling mountains further west—the ones I saw when I walked south. I tried to find the school library, but the leaves were so dense that it was hard to see. However, the elevated line of Line 1 in the distance is very easy to find. You can also see the colorful arched gate of the Chongqing Free Trade Zone, if you often pay attention to it when you return to school. You will feel like you are on a certain national highway in Yunnan, with mountains on one side and a plain sandwiched between two mountains on the other-of course the trees here are greener in comparison. I remember that this is also a national road with many steep slopes. When the big cars slowly turn uphill, the cars will reverse backward to avoid. Our bus also slid back some slopes, but quickly picked up and continued forward. When the road gradually becomes smooth, you are already on the top of the mountain. There seemed to be a town on the top of the broad mountain. You will see a terraced field, a regular green. Then there will be factories and some schools. It has always been a two-lane highway. Bus No. 247 will take you to Geleshan Square, where you can choose to cross Geleshan and get off from the White Mansion (just like we did).

Gele Mountain

I was still on the mountain ten hours ago, so writing now may not be so objective (so, I am not going to write a lot). My original plan was to take the Chongqing Bus special van under the mountain to cross Gele Mountain, but then we decided to simply go climbing. If you go up from Geleshan Square, you may worry that you will not see the view of Shapingba. Indeed you would think so, you need to walk for a long time, when you are already walking down the mountain road, you will suddenly see a wide field of vision. There is a lake on the mountain, or a pond, and at the end of the pond, you can see a western-style building-in the mountains and forests, as if it had a square.

Light Rail

You can take a light rail to travel around Chongqing. My favorite section is from Daping to Niujiaotuo on Line 2. There is a McDonald's Linjiang in Niujiaotuo Station. I usually go to the city for half a day and then have lunch there. I once took the second line to Yudong with my classmates, and then took the third line from Yudong back to the city. There is a long section of Line 2 above the city roads, and it also passes through pedestrian streets and squares. You can come down when you encounter a place of interest, walk on the platform, or simply go out of the station to stroll around. I remember it took a long time to leave the most prosperous city. We passed some dilapidated factories and rough greening. I remember there was a place called Neuschwanstein Castle, and we also saw that castle. To go south, you need to cross the river again. The bridge light rail runs parallel to the car. You can compare who is driving faster here. When you get to the fish hole, you can walk out of the station. There is a hill in the distance, and there is a mark like HOLLYWORLD on the hill. There is a flyover on the road where you can stand and watch the rolling traffic. It was winter, and there seemed to be a neat row of trees in the middle of the road, all yellow. I was less excited on Line 3, and I didn't even have any impression (it seemed very crowded, and I had no chance to look outside).

//坐轻轨过江是一件好玩的事

I don't want to discuss the difference in terms of light rail, subway and rail transit. In short, you can take Line 3 to cross the river from a little west, or you can take Line 6 to cross the river near the Chaotianmen sharp mouth. The bridges in Chongqing are very high, and the view over the river is getting wider.

Walk around Lianglukou Light Rail Station

Go to the Caiyuanba Bridge, where the interchange is extremely complicated, and (maybe) there is a great place to watch the light rail.

Walk around Hongya Cave

In this way, the pedestrian passage above the bridge next to Hongyadong is also a good place to watch the traffic. Opposite is the green Chongqing Grand Theater.

Yanjiang Road

You can also take the bus for sightseeing. Once back to school from the city, I decided to take a bus. I remember it was from the Niujiaotuo hub-it was a bus stop in the building (I also noticed it for this reason and decided to take the bus back) . It is (seems to be) heading towards Ciqikou. The bus I took went over the mountains and then drove to the river. You will pass under one bridge after another, and you will feel that the bridge is really big. At that time, it should be the Qiansimen Bridge, which was under construction. One side of the bridge led directly into the half-hillside of the Yuzhong Peninsula. The tunnel is being excavated, and above it is the running viaduct. Driving along Jiangyi Road, I will also pass the section of my favorite Line 2. It was also on the bus that I felt that Line 2 was at such a high position; and I also passed by. I often overlooked it on the light rail. Highway. There may be something out of chronological order here. In short, sitting in this car, you can still see a large number of tourists on the Liziba station square holding up their phones to take pictures of the light rail. Later, under a bridge, he turned to the city. I know that I am near the major area. I am trying to find the bishop of District A, but my position is a bit low. But soon, you will pass the major gates. You will also pass a turntable, where I thought of some scenery in Xiamen.

(An unrelated story. I spent almost 8 hours on the bus that day. Half for sightseeing, and half because I had to go back to the city to find my iPad)

Walk around Chaotianmen

//也许散步可以做个合集
//很多地方都可以漫无目的地随便走走

Chaotianmen is a prosperous neighborhood, you can walk straight on to the pointed mouth, and then walk up from the embankment along the river on the south side. Towards the end of the summer vacation, I watched the flood flooded the doorway, and I excitedly told the people around me that I had walked there-it was also an unexpected situation, because almost I often change trains in Daping Sit in the opposite direction. At a place higher than the embankment, there are many small, wet trails between the tall buildings. They are between buildings, and many local residents will go here. I remember that I once walked a very lively trail. There seemed to be small stalls on both sides, and there were people pushing motorcycles uphill. I always feel that the underground space between the building is connected, and there are many wholesale markets there. You can go for a walk for curious purposes, or buy two hard hats to take home to play. I remember that there were many trucks on the roadside, many unloading workers, and busy shopkeepers. That is a place with a lot of life. It may seem a little messy, but I still like a place like this. By the way, near Jiefangbei (the two are very close), I was waiting for my classmates from afar. I was walking around, near a hardware market (where there are helmets for sale), I just walked out of the road into an alley, down a few steps, and then rounded back to the original road-there was a stone gate hole. You can go through, followed by a straight downward step. Very Chongqing.

Take a stroll in the community of Chongqing

In the main city, there are many communities on the hills, and many small gardens (or vegetable plots) are on the roofs of the buildings. At the major emergency center, where the road is as high as a building, I once saw a few citizens on the top of a building maybe playing mahjong, and a white cat jumping around on the roof .

Take a bus to visit Yuzhong Peninsula at night

So far, I don’t seem to have seen the bustling city of Chongqing at night. As long as the bus has a seat, it must be very comfortable.

Jiangbei Airport

I once bought a ticket early in the morning, went to Jiangbei Airport one night in advance, and stayed at the airport overnight. I kept taking the free shuttle bus between the terminals, and even passed the dark T1 terminal. At four o'clock in the morning, I walked out of T3 and walked outside the airport fence. I saw a lot of working vehicles at the airport get busy early in the morning, lining up to enter the apron. Of course, I would not recommend that you do this deliberately, but if your plane is early in the morning, you can pass the time like this.

Welcome to our school! (However, it will not be open for the time being during the epidemic.)
Today I boarded Gele Mountain. I saw the main teaching building in Area A in the thick fog at noon in the distance. I once ran to the top of a building without taking the elevator. For people living in Huxi, they always feel that the old campus is really a bustling city. The old campus can be said to be on a mountain, and along the outermost campus road, you can overlook the Jialing River from the hillside. I often walked around the campus when I was waiting for the school bus. I remember that at the end of last semester, before the summer floods, I was sitting on the side of the mountainside cement road by the river and next to the main teaching building. On a black elegant bench, watching the yellow river mixed with things flowing below. The green vegetation on the opposite side of the river is a bit rough, and it seems that the undeveloped fields are often lush with vegetation, but the residential buildings are in between, but this is also a major feature of Chongqing. There is a weird building on the opposite side, which looks like a science and technology building, but in fact it is connected to the river and it is said to be an aquatic product market. Later, I walked around the outer circle, and there was a residential building built at the foot of the mountain, but there was a moss-covered sky bridge halfway up the mountain to the sixth or seventh floors upstairs. I walked to the bridge and looked down. There are many green trees, which are quite deep. I strolled around the historic engineering college building, which was damaged during the Chongqing bombing. The classroom inside is very small, and the stained glass when you walk in is very interesting. The cats in the old campus are also more unscrupulous than Huxi's. I also saw a wet orange cat drying itself on the hood of a Mercedes-Benz that had just been turned off. I leaned over and looked at him for a long time. It is particularly worth mentioning that there is a tunnel on the campus in the opposite area B.

Chongqing University Huxi Campus

This campus can also be called the Botanical Garden of Chongqing University, which is an official name. I wander here all day, and I can write a lot.
