1 What can you do?
The real-time contour preview function supports custom DEMs: Google terrain, high-precision DEM uploaded by yourself, aerial survey DSM by drones, and you can view the contours with whatever terrain you load. Regardless of the format, lrc or tif format is fine.
As the map zooms in, the contour lines come out. Look at the global contours anywhere!
2 How to use it?
Update to the latest version of LSV, analyze-turn on the contour line, and the real-time contour line preview function is enabled.
Click on the contour settings to customize the contour spacing (1 meter for aerial survey DSM, 20 meters for other terrain data is enough), selected line color, meter curve color, primary curve color, intermediate curve color, auxiliary curve color (Under normal circumstances, the last two are not open).
Note that the real-time contour preview is only to assist in the design in LSV, not for export; you can use the LSV contour generation tool for export.

1. Realize the contour line view in the macroscopic range, the display is smooth, and the contour line can be viewed at any position of any terrain.
Different from the contour analysis function, the scope is large, and the contour effect is not good. At the same time, it should be noted that the contour analysis function is based on the DEM data of Google terrain integrated by LSV, so the accuracy is generally only 30m.
The real-time preview of contour lines supports any DEM, and can load DEM data with 12.5m and 5m settings with higher precision. As can be seen from the following pictures, the higher precision DEM mesa and small mountain peaks are more obvious.
