Because an external SMTP server cannot be used, Reporting Service does not support external mail services.

Two, install and configure the SMTP server

1. Server Manager→Function→Add Function

Press the default next step to perform the installation. Restart the server after installation;

3. Debug Reporting Service and SMTP configuration;

1. Create a windows account

2. Enter MSSQL SERVER MANAGEMENT to configure database mail, fill in the virtual mail address and password (the MX record of the domain name should point to the IP)

3. Open the Reporting Services Configuration Manager. Fill in the sender address and local SMTP server address

4. Test

A. Create a mail.txt content (sender, recipient, title);

B. Copy it to the Pickup folder, it will be sent automatically and quickly, and check whether the mail can be received? ! If you can’t receive it, return to the above check. If you receive it, there is no problem with SMTP configuration.

C. Check the rsreportserver.config file, the location is C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSRS10_50.MSSQLSERVER\Reporting Services\ReportServer
