This function requires the Web-browser control to make the program interact with the jsp page. It only supports calling the IE kernel and the default is IE11. If there is no IE11 kernel, the highest version of IE installed on the PC is used.

Step 2: Template preparation

The first step in making an analysis report is to prepare a template for making an analysis report in order to evaluate the content to be produced.

Step 3: Data preparation

Log in to Smartbi to design the report, prepare the data needed for the analysis report, and create resources such as perspective analysis and spreadsheets.

The resource types supported by the system are: perspective analysis, ad hoc query, flexible analysis, instrument analysis, multi-dimensional analysis, spreadsheet, map analysis;

Currently not supported: data sets, self-service dashboards, web links, local documents, pages.

Step 4: Analysis report design

Open the report template in Word, PPT, WPS text, WPS presentation, use the Office plug-in to log in to the server, import the report data prepared in the previous step into the corresponding position of the document, and set the format.

The methods of importing report data include: importing parameters, importing tables, positioning cells, visualizing data sets, data mapping, and importing pictures. For specific steps, please refer to system resources.

The imported resources are displayed in the form of "content control" in the analysis report to guide the imported report data and its reference relationship.

Take Word as an example:

· Delete the referenced report data. Delete the report data on Word, the report data reference relationship still exists, as shown in the figure:

Step 5: Publish and authorize

After the analysis report is designed, publish it to the server and authorize resources so that other users can browse the analysis report online. For the operation of resource authorization, please refer to resource authorization.

The system supports periodic generation of analysis reports, publishes the analysis reports to the server, and authorizes resources, and then uses the function of scheduled tasks to periodically generate analysis reports. For the operation of the scheduled task, please refer to the scheduled task.

Step 6: Analysis report browsing

Users can open the analysis report on the Smartbi system to browse online. SmartbiV9 supports opening in PDF on the system terminal and can operate the analysis report.
