COVID-19: "Connect people in need through WhatsApp"

COVID-19 communication

What I want to build

I want to create an application that allows people to help others who have to stay at home because of Covid 19. People can register through WhatsApp and share their location with the app. People who need help can request help through WhatsApp, and then be assigned a random person within a certain range. After that, exchange the contact information of both parties to achieve faster communication.

About

The application enables people in need (e.g. because of Covid 19) to connect with other people in the area who offer their help.

How it works

The application uses the Twilio API for WhatsApp to receive and send WhatsApp messages. When you share your location via WhatsApp, your location is stored by the application and you can see if there are other people nearby who can help. After the other person volunteers to help the person in need, the contact information is exchanged to enable faster communication.

This application should give you a ready-made starting point for writing your own appointment reminder application. Before we begin, we need to collect all…
