Sign in with fun and start a vibrant day

The sign-in activity in the park is a routine activity in a day's life for children. It seems to be a small link, but it is also a problem worthy of in-depth discussion. How to integrate the sign-in activity into the Arrival Activity, increase its fun, and develop children's multiple abilities? With such doubts, we launched an inquiry.
In the early stage, our classes had envisaged sign-in activities. The sign-in activity should be based on the children's interest points, in line with the children's current development level, and at the same time, it should be able to enhance the child's potential development level. After a stage of imagination, each class began to design and produce the sign-in wall, and each class presented different forms. In order to understand the content of the check-in wall of each class, we made a text introduction to the design intent of the check-in wall and the check-in environmental materials, and discussed in the grade group to put forward suggestions that can be optimized for subsequent adjustments. After using the sign-in wall for a period of time, the teachers of each class re-optimized and adjusted for the problems that occurred during the use, and planned the follow-up promotion practices so that the sign-in activity can be continued in the children's daily life.
After studying and discussing the sign-in activities of various classes, I have a new understanding of the form, content and development goals of the sign-in activities. The sign-in activities of the small class are more interesting, because the young children in the small class are younger, and the sign-in by way of games can attract them more. For example, the game of dice rolls can be used to guide young children to carry out check-in activities with matching points. The sign-in activities of small classes should also focus on the social development of children. For example, choosing to hold hands and hug with a teacher or a companion when you come to the park can improve the pro-social behavior of small classes and ease the anxiety of children. When setting the development goals of the small class sign-in activities, the requirements should not be too high, and can incorporate goals in color, quantity, matching, etc., so that the children can "get it". The sign-in activity of the middle class can increase development goals in multiple fields, such as mathematical logic (laws, sequencing), simple painting, self-service awareness, etc. Teachers should integrate these development goals wisely and design sign-in activities that are fun. The sign-in activity of the large class is more abundant, you can write your own name, develop pre-writing skills, and prepare for the connection of young children; you can integrate the game of chess and develop the logical thinking ability of children; you can draw a picture of what you want to do today, and Talk to your peers, develop artistic and language skills.
After the sign-in activity has been carried out for a period of time, it is necessary to adjust the content and form appropriately, improve certain development goals, and keep the children interested in sign-in, and challenge them. This requires teachers to pay attention to the continuity and development of the sign-in form when designing sign-in activities. For example, the sign-in activity of my class consists of paper cups, Yakult bottles, and ice cream sticks. The name of the child is attached to the paper cup, the shape arrangement of different colors is attached to the Yakult bottles, and the corresponding color shape is also attached to the ice cream stick. Toddlers need to find the paper cups of their own names, see the arrangement of the Yakult bottles in the paper cups, and then find the corresponding ice cream sticks to match. Among them, multiple bottles of Yakult can be exchanged flexibly, so the bottles of Yakult in children ’s paper cups are different every day, and the colors and shapes they need to find are also different. This design increases flexibility and allows young children to have different challenges every day. Considering the subsequent development, the contents of the Yakult bottles and ice cream sticks can be adjusted as the child develops, which is also convenient for the replacement of the check-in activity content, which can give the child a higher level of challenge.
Through the study of "Fun Sign-in, Start a Vibrant Day", I got new thinking about the sign-in activity in the park. I will continue to adjust and innovate on the basis of the existing sign-in activities, and seek more interesting and challenging sign-in activities, so that every child likes to come to the sign-in stage and get some development from it.
