After opening the firewall in Windows 2012, add the remote desktop to the rule

When the project gets the server, I see that the firewall is turned off. For security reasons, it is better to turn on the firewall, but after opening the firewall, it will appear that mstsc cannot be remote from the desktop.

Solution:

If you encounter such a situation, you can try to configure the firewall again like me, maybe it can help you.

Open "Windows Advanced Firewall"

1. As shown in the figure below, only " Remote Desktop-User Mode (TCP-In) [Domain, Dedicated] " was opened in the "Inbound Rules" , but when the firewall is turned on, if only this one is opened Remote Desktop-User Mode (TCP-In) [domain, dedicated] "rule is enabled and cannot be remote normally

2. You also need to find "Remote Desktop-User Mode (TCP-In) [Public]" in "Inbound Rules" , right-click, and select "Enable Rules" in the menu.

Windows server 2012 is normally remote only if the domain, private, and public (all) are in the enabling rules
