For how to use UltraISO to write a Linux system image to a USB flash drive and make a boot disk, you can refer to " Installing Linux System to a USB Flash Drive "
Some time ago, due to various reasons, I wanted to install the ubuntu system in the original old computer, so I prepared to make a U disk boot disk. There was a problem in the process of making me: when writing to the Syslinux boot sector, the window of "find more than 1 partition" always popped up, and the boot sector could not be written. After some hard work, I finally found a solution.
Preparation: First, install UltraISO software on your computer, this software is mainly used to make U disk boot disk. Second, prepare a USB flash drive. It is best to back up the data in the USB flash drive. Finally, I need to prepare the ISO file of the system to be installed. Here I am going to install the ubuntu system, so I have the ubuntu ISO file and I download it online.
Open the UltraISO software, and then click "File-Open" in turn, a window will pop up, as shown below:
Find the system ISO file just downloaded in the pop-up window. As shown below:
Select the ISO file, and then click the Open button, the ISO file is loaded into the UltraISO software, as shown in the figure:
Then click "Start-Write Hard Disk Image" in turn, and a 'Write Hard Disk Image' window will pop up:
Write the hard disk boot sector below. Click OK in the pop-up window.
At this time, my computer did not write successfully, and a window was found, showing [more than 1 partition found]. No writing succeeded. After searching and finally resolved. The solution is: select the partition table editor in the convenient startup
Set to "active yes" in the pop-up window, not hidden. And click write.
Then you can write to the boot sector. Finally , click write in the "write hard disk image" window , click OK in the pop-up window, you can make ubuntu system U disk boot disk.
