[Article 3] Excerpts of thinking model and underlying logic

1. The thinking model is the compression of information and the best framework to help people understand things and solve problems.
It is a toolbox in our brain for making decisions and thinking about problems, and sometimes it can be expressed as a framework for analysis, like the APP in current mobile phones. For example: SWOT analysis (S = strengths advantage, W = weaknesses disadvantage, O = opportunities opportunity, T = threats threat); sometimes it may be expressed as a short theory, such as: psychological account theory When setting work goals, we can open a file named "SMART" (S = Specific, M = Measurable, A = Attainable, R = Relevant, T = Time-bound. Limited) thinking model, use it to set clear and detailed executable goals.

2. Thinking about the "underlying logic" behind common problems or phenomena can give us the ability to make inferences and understand each other, and become more transparent and accurate when looking at problems.
Four characteristics of the underlying logic:
(1) Abstraction-the more abstract, the more underlying.
(2) Conciseness-"The beginning of all things, Dadao to Jane, and evolution to prosperity", "Dadao to Jane" is exactly the basic principles, methods and laws of things are often extremely simple.
(3) Motivation-The underlying logic is the motivation for various phenomena.
(4) Generality-The underlying logic is not directed to a specific problem, but to a type of problem or phenomenon, and some can even be applied to everything.

For example, there is a very important underlying logic in business-the essence of business is the benefit of consumers (one aspect of human nature is greed and obsession). When you really understand this underlying logic, you will understand why Bezos can make Amazon so successful;
the underlying logic of physics-the law of conservation of energy that thermal energy, kinetic energy, or potential energy all obey.
The underlying logic of artificial intelligence—algorithms: The relationship between big data and algorithms is similar to land (breeding life, allowing artificial intelligence to land) and seeds (carrying life, allowing artificial intelligence to appear).
