1.1-1 BlueNRG what is
in ST's product portfolio we can see three to BlueNRG named products, namely: BlueNRG, BlueNRG-MS and BlueNRG-1, then what are they?
BlueNRG BLE4.0, network processor, with external MCU, the master achieve BLE from interconnection
BlueNRG-MS BLE4.1, network processor, with external MCU, the master chip from the same multiplexed
BlueNRG-1 BLE4.2, BLE SOC, requires no external MCU, you can achieve BLE4.2 function.
1.2 hardware platform
for BlueNRG-1, ST is provided with a set of hardware STeval-IDB007V1 demo, as shown below.
1.3 Software Development
BlueNRG-1 is based on ARM Cortex-M0 core, it may be based on ARM development IDE two most commonly used.
