Ban with built-in battery

Before replacing any CRU, be sure to disable the fast start, and then disable the built-in battery.

 

To disable quick start, do the following:

1. Go to "Control Panel", then the view from the "category" to "Large Icons" or "Small Icons."

2. Click the Power Options , and then click on the left pane, select the function of the power button .

1. If the User Account Control (UAC) prompt appears, click Shi .

1. Clear enable Quick Launch check box, and then click to save modifications .

 

To disable the built-in battery, do the following:

1. Restart your computer. When the logo screen, immediately press F1 to enter ThinkPad Setup.

2. Select ConfigPower . This displays the Power sub-menu.

1. Select Disable Built-in Battery , then press Enter.

1. In the Setup Confirmation window, select Yes . I.e., built-in battery is then disabled, and the computer is automatically shut down. Wait 3 to 5 minutes, it is cooled causing a computer.
