Apache Samza 1.4.0 is now available. Apache Samza distributed stream processing is a frame, is dedicated to processing data in real time, it is now used in a large number of actual production, such as LinkedIn, VMWare, Slack, Redfin like.
New features, upgrades and bug fixes:
- Improved management and monitoring aspects of local state
- Improved Samza SQL API's
- The new Azure Blob storage system manufacturer
- Bug fixes
It is noteworthy that, Apache said that if the application is upgraded to Samza 1.4, will no longer be supported samza-autoscaling module, and the module has been removed.
In addition, the team also may introduce backward incompatible changes related samza jobs submitted in a future version 1.5.
