Tempo limite de conexão para o modelo Descanso com HTTP Client 4.5 sob Proxy

Como posso definir o tempo limite? Tenho definir quase todas as configurações de tempo de espera. Normalmente sem procuração ele funciona bem. O problema acontece quando eu estou conectando com detalhes de conexão proxy. Log mostram que ele está ficando conectado e nenhuma resposta é recebida.
