Haverá um erro mais específica na logcat se você cavar através dele. Se você não pode ver nada na logcat, ir para
/build/reports/lint-results-release-fatal.xml.
Você vai encontrar os logs lá. Postá-lo na sua pergunta, se você ainda não pode resolvê-lo.
