Analysis of bottled drinking water industry: National market output is approximately 47.89 million tons

Water is first divided into two types: soft water and hard water according to its own hardness. The hardness of water refers to the content of salts dissolved in the water, that is, the content of calcium salts and magnesium salts. The hardness unit is ppm, and 1ppm represents 1 mg/L of calcium carbonate in the water. Water below 142 ppm is called soft water, water above 285 ppm is called hard water, and water between 142 and 285 is called moderately hard water. Rain and snow water are soft water; river water, river water, and lake water are moderately hard water; spring water, deep well water, and sea water are all hard water. Hard water usually does not cause direct harm to health, but hard water contains relatively large amounts of calcium salts. Therefore, the kettles we use to boil water are particularly prone to scale. The precipitation of scale is mainly carbonates and magnesium salts. , if such salts are partially decomposed after entering the intestinal tract, they will become constant elements for some people; if they cannot be dissolved and decomposed, they will be excreted with the feces and will not have any special impact on the body. However, if there is scale, it will absorb more harmful substances, which will cause certain harm. If a person has stone disease and it is calcium stone, drinking too much hard water will aggravate the condition. Drinking water includes clean natural spring water, well water, river water and lake water, as well as treated mineral water, purified water, etc. Processed drinking water comes in the form of bottled water, bottled water, piped drinking water, etc.

The production history of bottled drinking water in my country has been more than 70 years. At that time, natural mineral water was the main product, with low output and relatively expensive price. Few people in the country knew about this type of bottled mineral water product. In 1982, the country listed beverages as planned management products, one of more than 40 major categories of light industry products. This was the initial stage of development of my country's beverage industry. At that time, my country's beverage products were mainly carbonated drinks (soda), fruit juice drinks, and solid drinks. The output of carbonated drinks accounted for about 90% of the total beverage output. Bottled mineral water was also listed among them, which was a branch of soft drinks. But the amount of bottled water is negligible. In 1987, China promulgated the national standard for "Drinking Natural Mineral Water" (GB8537-87) for the first time, which is a national mandatory standard. Since the promulgation and implementation of this standard, the development and production of mineral water across the country have been booming. In 1989, the national standard "Classification of Soft Drinks" (GB10789-89) was promulgated, in which bottled water was designated as one of the eight major beverage categories. In the early 1990s, due to the gradual improvement of people's living standards, people's dietary structure was gradually changing. At that time, there were no other types of bottled water products in the country, only bottled mineral water products. People regard it as "fashion" to hold a bottle of bottled water while traveling. Later, highly processed bottled purified water was put on the market at an affordable price, emphasizing its purity and safety, and was generally welcomed by consumers.

With a market share of 40%, packaged drinking water has firmly ranked first in the national beverage market. In the industry, manufacturers of pure water, natural mineral water and mineral water account for the largest proportion. Consumer preferences for drinking water have changed, and corporate strategic focus has also shifted to natural mineral water following the market. The national output of packaged drinking water is approximately 47.89 million tons, an increase of 25.67% over 2010. Research results released by the Ministry of Environmental Protection show that 280 million residents in our country use unsafe drinking water. The results of a study titled "Research on Environmental Exposure Behavior Patterns of the Chinese Population" released by the Ministry of Environmental Protection show that there are 110 million residents in my country with key pollutant-emitting enterprises such as petrochemicals, coking, and thermal power generation within 1 kilometer of their residences, and 280 million residents use unsafe For drinking water, we should accelerate the realization of clean and high-quality domestic energy and accelerate the improvement of drinking water safety.

According to Hengzhou Bozhi: Water is not only the main component of the body, but also has many physiological functions. The dissolving power of water is very strong. Many substances can be dissolved in water and dissociated into ionic states to play important roles. Egg matter and fat that are insoluble in water can be suspended in water to form colloids or emulsions, which are convenient for digestion, absorption and utilization; water directly participates in oxidation-reduction reactions in the human body and promotes various physiological and biochemical reactions; without water, there is no human body. Unable to maintain physiological activities such as blood circulation, respiration, digestion, absorption, secretion, and diarrhea. Metabolism in the body cannot proceed; water has a large specific heat, which can regulate body temperature and keep it constant. When the outside temperature is high or the body produces a lot of heat, evaporation of water and sweating can help dissipate heat. When the weather is cold, due to the great potential of water to store heat, the human body will not lower its body temperature due to the cold outside, and the fluidity of water is high. On the one hand, it can transport oxygen, nutrients, hormones, etc., and on the other hand, it can excrete metabolites and toxic substances through stool, urination, and sweating. Water is also the body's own lubricant, such as skin moisture and tears, saliva, joint capsule and serosal cavity fluid are all lubricants for corresponding organs.

In recent years, mineral water has gradually become more and more popular. Mineral water actually appeared more than 10 years ago. It was an innovative product after pure water. At that time, it was listed as other water beverages along with natural mountain spring water. In the Chinese market, since the launch of Master Kong mineral water, various brands of mineral water have also appeared in droves. From December 1, 2008, mineral water has officially become one of the six major water types under the category of packaged drinking water in my country. In recent years, the sales of mineral water have grown rapidly, surpassing all other drinking water categories. Mineral water is ushering in a prosperous era of development. After several years of fierce market competition, the bottled water industry seems to be calming down. From the fierce competition, consumer awareness and scientific knowledge of drinking water have been significantly improved. In addition, manufacturing companies have also learned many truths from fierce competition. The most obvious thing is that large and medium-sized enterprises across the country have made significant improvements in production management, production technology, product quality, etc. Analyzing the national sales market, some large and medium-sized enterprises established in the early stage have an unbeatable market reputation and popular product sales, which shows that brand is the key to products and management is their advantage, confirming that "technology can be bought, but management is difficult to buy" ".
