The kernel source code of Xiaomi 14 series mobile phones (Xiaomi 14 & Xiaomi 14 Pro) has been uploaded to GitHub. Submission records show that the AOSP version is based on Android U and is labeled KERNEL.PLATFORM.3.0.r1-03200-kernel.0-1.

Since the Android system is based on Linux, and Linux adopts GPLv2 authorization, according to the requirements of the GPL agreement, derivative works need to release source code. Xiaomi began to open source the kernel source code of new models in 2018, and the open source time is usually within three months after the release of the new model . Starting from Xiaomi 9 in 2019, Xiaomi will change the open source time to open source at the same time as the new machine is launched.
Therefore, starting from the Xiaomi 9 series, the source code is almost always released on the day of release or the next day, but this time the Xiaomi 14 series models were delayed by more than a month.
