Recently, we have upgraded and optimized the function of the video aggregation and security comprehensive management platform EasyCVR to access the intelligent analysis gateway. Today we will introduce the detailed access steps.

1. Start the gateway hardware

After getting the smart analysis gateway V3 hardware box, connect the network cable and power supply, and plug the network cable into the LAN port first. Subsequently, configure an IP address of 192.168.150.x on the computer, and access 192.168.150.1 in the browser to enter the backend of the intelligent analysis gateway V3. The initial username and password are Admin/admin.

2. Configure the network

After entering the background of the intelligent analysis gateway V3, click [Network Configuration] and modify the IP address of the network name [wan].

Select [Manual Setting] for the allocation method, fill in the IP address as required, and then confirm and save. After the modification is completed, the hardware box will automatically restart. We will transfer the network cable from the LAN port to the WAN port, and enter the IP address we just modified in the browser to access the backend.

3. Add channel

Click [Channel Management] and click the [Add] button to add a channel.

On the [Add Channel] page that pops up, select the access protocol as RTSP, change the camera number to the name of the channel, enter the rtsp video stream address, and click [OK].

4. Configure AI algorithm

After the channel is added, we add the AI ​​algorithm analysis task. Click [Task Management] on the left, click the [Add] button, and fill in the new task interface as shown in the screenshot below.

Note: Some algorithms need to configure the recognition area.
Click the [Options] button behind the task and click [Configuration Area]. In the [Edit Area] interface, click the [Area] button, move the mouse into the video area, and draw the area as required. After the drawing is completed, a dialog box will automatically pop up. Fill in the name of [Logo], select [Special Algorithm Area] for [Region Type], select the algorithm to be associated with the associated algorithm, and click [OK].

After confirming the setting area, click the [Save] button in the lower right corner to save and add it successfully.

5. Connect to EasyCVR platform

After the task of adding the intelligent analysis gateway V3 (box) is completed, we need to access the V3 gateway hardware box in EasyCVR v3.3. The adding path is: Intelligent Analysis - Add a new box. After clicking the [Add Box] button, a dialog box will pop up, follow the prompts to enter the corresponding parameters.

It should be noted here that the address of the box service needs to fill in the access address of the box, the format is: http://box ip:prot.

After the addition is completed, refresh the page and click the edit button. The push service address will be displayed. Copy the address to the [Report Address] input box of the box background task. In front of the push address, the access address of the current platform service needs to be added.

Then click [Channel Management] and [Edit Channel] on the box side. After turning on [Forward to National Standard Service], fill in the national standard channel number of the channel as the device channel that needs to be bound on the EasyCVR platform.

After the configuration is completed, the intelligent analysis results of the V3 gateway hardware box based on the AI ​​algorithm model can be seen on the video aggregation/video fusion platform EasyCVR.
