PICO Tutorial from Scratch (0) – Tutorial Outline
I. Introduction
1. The reason for writing this tutorial
The first reason is that there are few relevant tutorials. After searching website B and various search engines, I felt that there were relatively few tutorials on PICO development, so I recorded my learning process to provide my own modest contribution to the construction of the VR ecosystem.
The second reason is more selfish. It is to promote the Metaverse Developers Association of Shenzhen University of Technology . The association was established in 2023.06 and is still a new organization.
The first formal club recruitment will begin in mid-September 2023. I have little expectations. Come quickly and get more big guys hh to welcome the future era together.
The main research and development directions of our association are: VR, AR, MR, Agent . Other Yuanverse-related university societies/organizations/project teams in Shenzhen are welcome to communicate together! 2. Goal
Goal: After studying this textbook, you will have the ability to initially develop a high-level VR game that can be run on PICO .
3. Prerequisite skills
- Demonstrates around intermediate level programming skills
- For the Luogu question list , it is enough to complete the data structure from scratch in Luogu (if you encounter difficulties in the middle, you can go through the POJ basic question list and take it easy)
- Introduction to C# language
- I recommend the C# tutorial for beginners . When you learn the chapter about classes, remember to use VS to type code along with it.
- Getting Started with Unity3D Game Development
The pre-requisite skills mainly involved in this tutorial are as above. Learning VR development will be smoother if you have these three basics.
