1. Project creation

Note: Resolve has no way to change the frame rate of the project after importing footage.

1. Change the frame rate to the correct value.

Note: 25 frames is generally recommended in China, because the internal AC is 50Hz, it is recommended to use 25 frames for video shooting in the early stage, and it is another matter for movies (24 frames and the like will be used).

2. Change the location of the project cache.

·Click on the file in the main panel, open the project settings, click on the main settings.

3. Import material.

(1) First import all materials, and then create media folders in the media pool for classification.

(2) Filter the material in the material monitor under the editing panel

·Press the i key and o key to enter the input point and output point of the video, and then drag the video in.

· There are two options when dragging, audio only or video.

(3) Replace (F11)

It is a bit like overwriting, the most different point is that if the remaining clips of the clip after the playhead are not enough to place the new clip to be operated.

This fragment has fewer remaining fragments:

·If it is covering , all the fragments to be operated will be covered, and other fragments behind will be pushed back.

· If it is a replacement , only the remaining fragments are replaced. The content of the fragment to be manipulated is reduced.
