Install WeChat on ubuntu
1- Environment description:
First of all, let me explain my experience of installing WeChat on ubuntu20.04LTS. I have read a lot of installation methods on the Internet (mainly csdn), including directly installing wechat, and installing the deepin version of wechat. Either it cannot run, or it is very bad. use. Finally, I found a useful WeChat and hope to share it with everyone.
Supplement: Now WeChat only releases the version on ukylin (Ukylin), and other linux distributions are not Tencent official. Therefore, installing the WeChat version supported by Tencent must be easy to use.
2- Installation process
(1) Download the Wine environment package
wget http://archive.ubuntukylin.com/software/pool/partner/ukylin-wine_70.6.3.25_amd64.deb
(2) Download the WeChat (wine) package
wget http://archive.ubuntukylin.com/software/pool/partner/ukylin-wechat_3.0.0_amd64.deb
(3) Install the Wine environment package
sudo dpkg -i ./ukylin-wine_70.6.3.25_amd64.deb
(4) Install wechat package
sudo dpkg -i ./ukylin-wechat_3.0.0_amd64.deb
(5) start wechat
cd /opt/ukylin-wine/apps/wine-wechat/ && ./run.sh
3-Resolution adjustment (please ignore the 1080p screen)
env WINEPREFIX="$HOME/.ukylin-wine/wechat" /usr/bin/ukylin-wine winecfg
After opening, modify the corresponding dpi on the selection interface to adapt to the high-resolution screen: 2k screen configuration 200
